Empowering Young Learners: How PYP Students Address Clean Water Challenges in South Sudan

In Nam Sung Elementary School, which is an authorized PYP World School for the International Baccalaureate program, students of Grade 4 were able to take their inquiry learning to practical action through a project entitled “Bringing Clean Water to South Sudan.” Through their reading of A Long Walk to Water, students have learned about the lack of clean water sources in South Sudan and decided to act on their own accord to collect money and spread awareness through a student-led campaign.

These modifications consist of extra exam paper variations, improved supervision practices, change in examination timings in specific regions, and restrictions on the use of technology like clearing GDC memory.
