The International Baccalaureate Organisation has announced its participation as a sponsoring partner at the 2026 ASU+GSV Summit, marking its first formal partnership with the global education and skills event. The Summit, themed “The Power of Fusion”, will take place from April 12–15 in San Diego and is expected to draw more than 7,000 leaders in education, technology, workforce development, and policymaking.
The ASU+GSV Summit is a major global forum that brings together educators, edtech innovators, investors, philanthropists, and government representatives to explore new pathways in learning, skills development, and workforce transformation.
Strategic Engagement
By attending as a partner, the IB aims to engage with universities, education technology partners, and industry leaders while reinforcing its commitment to innovation and career-related learning.
In 2023, Arizona State University became an official partner for the IB’s Career-related Programme (CP), recognising the programme for university admission and offering students access to online credit-bearing courses in career pathways—an example of how the IB is expanding global learning opportunities.
